What can I say, what can I say? There are no words for how great this couple is. They’re perfect for each other. They both are these just amazing people and I’m totally honored that they chose me to photograph their wedding. They were one of my first couples to book this year and ended up being my last wedding of the season. The wedding was held at 1st Presbyterian Church of Sapulpa and the reception was across the street at Collins Ballroom. I’d never photographed a wedding at either and hello Collins Ballroom! What a gorgeous venue!! If you’re still looking check it out. The day went off, mostly, without a hitch. There was one tiny little hiccup when I was told I wouldn’t be allowed to photograph any pictures during the ceremony. Any. That kind of freaked me out because I couldn’t imagine not documenting the most pivotal moment in this couple’s life. But Blake’s mom (who is totally cool) fixed everything.
Probably my favorite getting ready shot! Love it!
I believe Petal Pushers did all the florals and they turned out stunning!

It’s really a gorgeous church.

So this picture and the next one I can’t take credit for. Which is too bad because the above one is probably my favorite from the whole group. I have one from a different angle that is just as gorgeous but she blinked. Bummer! And I did set the below shot up I just didn’t have the proper lens on to capture it. But April rocked it out and knew exactly what I was going for. I heart April.

First dance in Collins Ballroom…

Looking for a cake? Check out Barbie’s Cakes. You can buy cake from a lot of places but very few are as yummy as Barbies. And I’m not biased at all (she did my wedding cake too). Speaking of my wedding… let’s talk about chair covers. I watched my wedding video last night and the thing that was so irritating watching it was the chairs. They were ugly. And bare. My next wedding (haha) I’m totally having chair covers. And there’s no one else I would have do them but Cover Girls. They did Jaklyn’s chairs and they were stunning. Its such a great company and you totally have to hire them.
And just a fun leaving shot.
Jaklyn and Blake, ya’ll are the greatest! I had such a good time shooting your fantastic wedding! Congratulations!
