Sara and Shane came to me recently for Sara’s maternity portraits. She’s a photographer out of a Skiatook. I’m always slightly nervous when photographing a photographer, but she and Shane are such sweethearts that I had no reason to be nervous. And they’re both fantastic in front of the camera. I felt honored that they chose me to photograph this amazing time in their lives. I can’t get enough of this new background of mine. I promise I have other sets too shoot on, but I just love this one.

I’m a little embarrassed to say that this is my front yard (it’s time to rake again)… but isn’t she gorgeous in the leaves? I’ve got to start shooting more maternity sessions outdoors.

I’m sure some of you will get the inspiration behind the above shot. Its from a movie… She pulled out the shirt and I just so happened to have my orange chair sitting out. It worked out well.

Sara did a great job picking out outfits for her and Shane. I have a lot people ask if they have to show their belly in maternity pictures. You do what’s comfortable for you. I do love the way a woman looks in a wrap but if that’s not you, then bring some fun outfits.
Cans for comments people… we’re doing great! Let’s keep it up!
