Looking at April and Jon’s wedding pictures just make me smile! They are such a fantastic couple, who are both the biggest sweethearts you’ll ever meet! They’re completely smitten with eachother and their fun personalities are just contagious. They got married at the end of July. The day was going smoothly and great and then… Catoosa lost power. Not just their chapel (Vesica Piscis) but the entire city. In 105 weather… a building filled with 100 plus people gets warm pretty quickly. A wedding without power is difficult. Its not just the lack of AC. Its no power for the piano, no mic’s, no lights. Luckily the power came back on before too long and the ceremony didn’t have to start that much later. Here’s the crazy cool part about it all… April and Jon met in a power outage! Is that not crazy?! April said she was about to have a little meltdown (literally. It was HOT) when she realized the irony of it. The minister even got to add that little fact to the ceremony. So it actually makes for a really great story! Isn’t April (the bride) just glowing?!From the first dance on, this party didn’t stop! There were a lot of great dancers and the dance floor was packed the entire night! They ended up taking the party over to the Hard Rock for an after party! Such a fun group!!Told you… Show stealer! Actually this little lady busted out quite a few dance moves that got her some attention too.
