Allie & Brett: Married – Tulsa Wedding Photographer
I gotta tell ya guys… I loved this wedding. I really, really loved it. Okay I’ve typed and erased about 15 different things. I can’t seem to think of the right words to describe this wedding. Beautiful. Fun. Stress Free. (no, that’s not a typo). I just don’t have enough good things to say about it. There’s something about my photography that’s different when I’ve really gotten to know a bride. We had both an engagement and bridal shoot, which always helps. And I got to know Allie’s UH-MAZING mom and sister in the process. I’ve said it a billion times that my clients become so much more than just a client to me. But it’s really struck home to me lately, that when I build that relationship, I’m shooting their wedding as a friend, not as just a photographer. My heart and soul is in it and I know who and what is most important to them. The point is… let’s go get a glass of wine and sit down and chat about your wedding. I would really love to spend the extra time with all my clients. 🙂
Anywhosie… Allie and Brett’s wedding was soooo fun and soooo beautiful. They hired THE most fantabulous vendors (who I’ll list at the end of the post) and the whole day was just so laid back and fun. They left plently of time for portraits… which leaves plenty of time for lots of photojournalism and detail shots. (it really is all related). I’ll say more as you view the rest of the post. Can you believe her waist?! How is that humanly possible? (Shot on the right is April’s!)You guys sick of hearing me gripe about how you need to do a first look yet? Well, ya do. Look at these expressions!! How great is this! Allie and Brett got to spend the afternoon together, on their day. And did this make the walk down the aisle any less special? Not at all! A certain groom still had tears rolling down his face, even though he’d already seen his bride. Gosh. I just love all these portraits!! This couple is just too good looking.Over the last year or so, family portraits have taken on a new meaning to me. They don’t have to be boring and stiff… they should be fun and full of life. Oh these flowergirls… so stinkin’ cute!!Details! Pretty sure these are all April’s. I was digging all the spring flowers and colors. Guess who did the flowers? The sister of the bride!! And while we’re on the subject of sister, Rachel, I just have to mention that she planned Allie’s wedding for her and did an amazing job!! Such a great sister! This first dance has got to be one of my favorites, ever! It was just so sweet. They danced to one of the groomsmen singing and playing the guitar. Other than the music, you could have heart a pin drop in that room. Allie and Brett were completely lost in eachother. I don’t think they noticed any of us even in the room. And then the party began! It was a small wedding so you never know if people will be dancing in a smaller group. But they definitely danced at this one. They were so fun to watch!! Brett had a cigar bar outside, so of course we had to get at least one shot out there. P.S. Guys, get a cigar bar. Your male (and a few female) guests will love you forever.

This wedding wouldn’t have been as fabulous without having an AMAZING wedding coordinator!! Erica Weddings rocks every single time I get to work with her!! Run and hire her right now for your wedding. I’m not saying this cause I love her, I’m saying this because you need her at your wedding. Also I gotta mention Zach Downing Entertainment. Geez louise on toast, he’s just awesome!! And his DJ’ing is simply too good to sit still to.
Other ridiculously amazing vendors that were involved:
Dresser Mansion
Faccia Bella (did all the gorgeous makeup!! Love!)
Nibbles (that cake was so freakin’ good!!)
