Ashley & Mark – Married: Tulsa Wedding Photographer
Wow… I’m struggling to find a place to start with this one! So I think I’ll quote Erica, of Erica Weddings, from a conversation she and I had on FB the other day. “I think client personality has A LOT to do with it too…Ashley & Mark had so much life that you can’t help but take beautiful pictures of them!!!” And its sooo true! The best way to describe this couple is “Full of life”! They are just so much fun to be around, and their wedding was a perfect extension of their personalities. Their friends and family are all amazing to be around too! Everyone involved made us feel like a part of the gang!
Ashley and Mark are both teachers, so you’ll see how they incorporated that into their wedding. I love it when couples add those personal touches, that make their weddings uniquely them.
We started the day at the Mayo for getting ready pictures.
Ashley hired the amazing Faccia Bella for makeup, they always do a great job! Plus she puts up with me hanging over her shoulder snapping away. 😉
Luckily they opted for a first look! So we had plenty of time to get all the pictures that were important to them.
Hello Mrs. SassyPants!
Adorable right?!Just prepare yourself for these wedding party pictures… you’ve been warned.
I love this shot April snagged from her view! These bridesmaids were some of the sweetest and cutest girls ever!!So… yeah. Hmm… Here’s how this went down. Me: “Hey Ashley stand up front, and boys… well just be yourselves!” I look down to adjust my camera, and look up just in time for Ashley to look over her shoulder and see what’s going on. This was her response. Cra-Cra!! The great part is that he tried to pull up his pants after this. Um, no… they’re down there, they must stay down.
I didn’t realize the boys on the right had done what they were doing until later… they got trumped by pantless dude. (but only a little) Needless to say, I now know what Mark’s friends do when they’re being themselves. 🙂Ceremony at Sharp Chapel. This is also where Ashley’s parents got married! Such a cool way to honor her parents!
Like I said… full of life! Love this one!!
Florals all by Bridal Garden by Lindi! I’m telling y’all, she’s amazing!!
Bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils as favors… it so reminds me of You’ve Got Mail.
They had no groom’s cake so they opted for a Dippin’ Dots stand!! They also had popcorn for the late crowd! Its those little details that make a wedding great!I just love these two!! Here is Mark jumping a rope of napkins, and then singing karaoke to his bride!
Ashley and Mark, your wedding was unforgettable! It was a fabulous night!!
