I hate the term Trash the Dress. Its such an inaccurate description for these shoots. There’s no trashing of any dress involved in what we do. I mean, sure, if you wanted to roll around in mud your dress would probably get trashed. But taking some gorgeous, artsy images in water will by no means trash your dress. I just want to state that now. 🙂
Jill lives in New York City, but when she called and said she would be in Oklahoma, and wanted to do a session, I was thrilled! And I was even more excited to find out that we would be doing them in the Illinois river. There’s just something so peaceful and lovely about the river. Jill did this session to celebrate her 10 year anniversary. And what better way to do that then to get out the wedding dress and go for a swim?! 🙂 She’s the type of girl I love to photograph! She adores photography, loves being photographed, and allows me to use my creativity to create something unique for her!
I’m torn… I’m not sure if this one is my favorite. I think it is. Maybe. Either way, I flipping LOVE it!!!And this is my other fave. Okay I think this one really is my fave. I mean look at that yummy, yummy light!!! You’re killin’ me, Smalls. (name that movie!!)
