This is one of those “Oh where do I start” kind of blogs. Okay, granted, most of my blogs are like that. But this was just an awesome wedding of people I just love. I photographed Rachel’s sister’s wedding almost 2 years ago. So I’ve had lots and lots of time to get to know this family, and they’re just the bestest. I think I said it before, but all my weddings this fall just were amazing!! Rachel and Dustin got married on November 3rd at the Historical Society. Rachel is the queen of DIY! No seriously, the QUEEN. She did her own flipping flowers for her own wedding!! Not to mention she made her own veil and a host of other crazy things that none of the rest of us would ever attempt. (But I gotta tell ya, it made for some pretty hysterical FB updates from her). But she’s crazy talented and the wedding turned out beautifully!

Rachel’s a wise girl and new a first look was perfect for them! There’s just nothing as sweet as a moment when a couple see each other for the first time on their wedding day.

The downtown setting was perfect for their portrait session!I mean, how hot are they?!

This little ringbearer’s mama really knew her son well. She got him to stand still and smile for pictures with cold, hard cash! I mean hello! Money talks!

Favorite picture of the day!!I just LOVE this family! We did a similar picture at Alli and Brett’s wedding so we had to do it again now that everyone was married! Love!!Yeah… Rachel did all this! Crazy, right? But sooo beautiful! They just have to be the cutest little wedding party members, ever!

As great as the first kiss is, I love the moment right after it just as much!

Another fave. Pretty sure this is one of April’s captures.

Priceless!! (Sorry Rach, had to put it in! You’re just too cute!!)

Some guys get really into the garter toss, Dustin put on quite the show for us!Mama Tracy is always the one to keep the dance floor hopping! She’s just too much fun on the dance floor. So fun, in fact, that even the photographer had to get out there to bust a move. Eek!!Late night snack of Krispy Kreme’s and milk! As awesome as these people are, the day would NOT have been as awesome as it was without some very, very, very incredible vendors! Please check them out and hire them now. Because they rock.
