I love people. It’s really why I got into photography in the first place. But being blessed enough to photograph loved ones, is the best part of my job. I’ve known Catherine her whole life. I knew her dad before he even met her mom. (he taught me science in the 4th grade in my first year of homeschooling.) To say their family are loved ones is almost an understatement. They are family. Knowing that Catherine is graduating makes me feel old, because I thought I was such a mature teenager when she was born. On second thought… I was very, very young…. We could be sisters… I’m not old at all. 😉 Just for fun I wanted to share a picture of the two of us when she was little. (let’s all just ignore the hair and the zit, mmmK? Let’s focus on what a darling little girl she was)
And she’s still completely darling! We started her session during the Tulsa State Fair for something a bit different. Shooting at the fair is always… interesting. You have to dodge all the carnies and mullets, but its worth it for the fun surroundings. Then about a month later, when the beautiful fall color was out, we did a 2nd session at Philbrook. That was a bit calmer. 🙂 Catherine, I’m so proud of you. You’re a gorgeous young girl both inside and out. Love you girlie!!
P.S. Catherine and I share our obsession love for Sherlock and all things Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. Yet another reason she’s super cool.
Since 2008, I've been photographing people of all ages, shapes, and sizes in need of high-end, timeless, fun, fresh lifestyle photography and portraiture for families, newborns, and seniors. Book your session today!
