If y’all only know the backlog of gorgeous weddings I’m sitting on that need to be blogged, you’d reach through your screen and slap me. 2014 was an AMAZING year for weddings and every time I look at one I feel all warm and fuzzy and then feel extreme guilt for not blogging them. So, I’m just pulling one and diving in
I love Amy and Brandon. And I love Amy’s mom, Regina. I hear all this stuff about bridezillas and momzillas, but I am lucky enough to almost always avoid those types. I form such a tight bond with my brides and their mamas that I seriously miss them after their weddings. This was just a perfect wedding. It was at Philbrook (and we all know I’m a super fan of anything at Philbrook) and it was a very small, intimate wedding. I love a big wedding, but sometimes a small wedding just melts me. The weather tried to freak out on us and rained and was pretty cold for early October. I encouraged Amy to keep the wedding outdoors because at a venue like Philbrook, you should utilize it as much as possible. I’m glad she did.
There’s just so much yumminess that I should probably just button up and get to the photos. 🙂

Amy and Brandon included a sand ceremony and also a blessing with Brandon’s daughter.

The first kiss of a wedding is of course wonderful, but the second after is usually my favorite. You can’t beat the look on Amy’s face.
