Betsy & Spencer: Married – Tulsa Wedding Photographer
At some point, all the fall weddings will be posted. Slow and steady wins the race! 🙂
Just reliving Betsy and Spencer’s wedding while I was prepping this blog was just so nice. It was one of the most emotional weddings I’ve photographed. And while being related to Betsy probably contributed to me feeling emotional, a complete stranger would have felt the emotions there that night. The wedding was held at Camp Loughridge and was the perfect location for their vintage theme.
Betsy was such a serene bride. She’s always been beautiful, but I’ve never seen her more beautiful than on that day. And I love love love her family! Even though they’re technically Paddycakes family, they’ve adopted me in. Her sister Abbey is just the most bubbly person. The picture above isn’t her exaggerated. She’s just like that!
Betsy had to actually be talked into a first look. It wasn’t her first choice, but because it would be dark before her ceremony even started, she decided it was best. We worried a bit that Spencer would be disappointed. But after the wedding she asked him what his favorite part of the day was, and his answer was the first look.
This moment is something I just can’t correctly describe. They were so lost in each other and it was just beautiful. It was one of those moments that gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. LOVE this portrait!!
Awesome flowers done by the oh so talented Lindi, of the Bridal Garden!
Another favorite!
Love this family!!
I love the look on her dad’s face before he was about to give her away. It was just so precious. Yet more chills and tears from me!
Stationery and invitations by the fabulous girls over at Paper Girl!
Its my blog, so if I choose to feature my family members (and myself) I think that’s acceptable. Bottom left corner are my inlaws. (pretty cute, huh?) And bottom right is Betsy’s mom, Mary, and me. She rocks, btw!
Towards the end of the night Betsy and her best friend Rachel busted out this coordinated dance that they’ve apparently been doing since they were kids. It was HILARIOUS!!
Betsy and Spencer, you know I love you guys!! I’m sooo soooo sooooo happy Betsy has found this amazing man who is so good to her!

I also need to add that April did many of these pictures! I was able to enjoy the reception as a family member and I was so thankful she was there. Oh and she’s brilliant!
