It was time for a more updated post! We’ve been having a blast with these spring weddings and I hope to post them all! Shellie and Michael are precious, and so are their families. I love the weddings where I can get to know not only the couple, but their families too! My favorite clients are the ones that have close relationships with their parents and siblings. It makes the wedding day so pleasant.
Shellie and Michael have been great to work with from the start! (And I’m not just talking about the fact that they’re both ridiculously good looking, but that doesn’t hurt.) They’re just fun to be around! They got married at Vesica Piscis Chapel on a great day! It was sunny and pleasant out and during the ceremony the thunder started rolling in and we got a beautiful Oklahoma storm! (luckily, they opted for a first look so all the outdoor pictures were done… mostly)

I can’t help myself… I just love a sunny beautiful picture!

When Shellie saw her pictures, she told me, “I kept thinking… where is Andrea??” Well, we’re kinda sneaky. Especially April. She’s kind of like the phantom photographer on the wedding day.

While these toasts (which were awesome and tearful and all the good things speeches should be) the owner of Vesica, Judy, came and tapped us on the shoulder and told us we had to see the clouds outside! I sent April out to shoot in case they moved quickly, while I covered the toasts. Check out the result below…Um…. thank you Judy!!! How beautiful!! Luckily, we had time to rush the couple out for just one last picture before the clouds left. (Like I said above… we were mostly done with portraits before the ceremony. But not completely.)

I’m thinkin’ I need a sample at the studio of this one!
